End of Year Exhibiton Logbook: Entry 3

Since my last update I have felt that I've managed to get my but in gear a bit more and have decided on what kind of thing I will really do!

In my usual fashion, I started with some mind maps! The first one I done was just a general kind of one for the different types of techniques and situations I could use for the covers.

I then done a few more mind maps this time relating to each of the different books. With this I felt it would be important to make notes of anything from the books that are important or symbolic of the books.

I then started writing out the names of the books in different styles. Mainly I did this because I was bored and wanted to doodle but it might result to something!

I have started on some initial sketches too but I didn't feel like sharing them just yet as I want to develop them further and have a semi-fleshed idea before so.

I've also added a lot more research to my boards. I had forgotten about one pin I done a while ago but after looking into my 'books' board I rediscovered these designs that are awesome! I really love how the illustrations worked with the physical elements of the cover, and I hope to try and do something similar myself.
I have also seen several different illustrations that I feel may work with the books I've chosen. But this is something I need to delve into and just have a bit of a doodle to be honest!
