It's been a while since I've posted anything onto this blog! The past few weeks I really have just needed to step back away from it and focus on other things. I'm still not going to be 'fully' back just yet as I am still cramming to get loads of work done, still ill and going away to Edinburgh (again) for a few days in 2 weeks time. 

This week I have felt so much better with the #Create365 project after having a few off weeks. I think it may be partially due to starting a new moleskine this past week and having that newness and freshness of it be kind of invigorating? I donno but I've felt better! I also kind of 'missed' one day in a way but not properly. Mainly I didn't actually do an entry in my moleskine but had been focused on my uni work all afternoon/evening/night and decided to share one of those instead!

I've also just noticed that everything from the past week is on the black/white scale which is unusual for me! I usually have some form of colour in one of them... oh well!

I've been feeling quite bored with my usual Sunday Summary posts recently and because I've been wanting to snap some stuff more often I felt it made sense to more dedicate these posts to the photos I have taken- whether they've appeared on Instagram or not. 

How has your week been?

Apologies for not sharing a playlist last month but I hadn't really been listening to anything extremely different to the playlist from December apart from one or two new finds. So I've compiled a collection of songs that I've loved throughout the first two months of the year. My main finds from the past month include Against The Current, Phillip Phillips and Years&Years. They are all quite contrasting to each other but they definitely are extremely catchy so I would definitely recommend you check them out if you haven't already!

What's been on your playlist recently? Also let me know of any awesome musicians/songs you've come across, I'm always on the hunt for new music!  

Over my time of blogging there's been several reasons why I have enjoyed and love it and continued to carry on doing it. These points are probably similar to what other people would say but let me know why you love blogging to!

#1 Creative Freedom | The main reason I set up this blog was a place to share my love for Design and it still is. Although I've wavered between creative & lifestyle blogger a lot I love that I have my own space to share anything I want.

#2 Connecting with people | I've met some truly amazing people and had some great opportunities through people! It's great to know that there is a huge community out there to help each other or give advice. 

#3 Developing skills | I've said this before, but I've learned so much in terms of photography, writing and time management through this blog. All skills I know will be helpful for me in the future

#4 It's made me more confident | This is more in terms of sharing my work. But putting my work, thoughts and ideas out there has given more confidence to speak about it in person and in front of people.

#5 I experience life more | Ok this is a bit of a weird one but before I started blogging I wasn't going out much. However, now I try to make time in my life to have little adventures, see new places and visit exhibitions. It's helped open my mind up and has definitely influenced my work as well as posts for this blog.

This week didn't start so great with being cuddled up in bed with tonsillitis but I'm definitely feeling better so that's good! Other than being ill, I (luckily) had this week of from uni to catch up with work and get feedback on said work.
