2014 Hopes & Resolutions

Every year like many others I make several resolutions that I never end up keeping. But this year I've got some hopes that are basically resolutions that may end up not happening because of things that just generally happen in life.

DeleteI've called my resolutions "intentions" this year in the hope that they happen - the idea of a resolution makes me run a mile so i'm doing mind tricks. This year they tend to revolve around reading more, buying a house and getting more body confident. I have a blog post myself lined up about it in the coming week so make sure to check it out if you're interested!
ReplyDeleteAh intentions sounds like such a better name than resolutions! The word "resolutions" always sounds horrifying and a lot bigger than what it actually is. And I hope your intentions goes well. Body confidence is always normally on my list but you always have good and bad days. I'll have an eye out for your post this week! :)
DeleteIntentions also works for me! I bought Jessica Swift's goals and intentions pack in 2013 and worked through that. it was a really good framework for planning out my year and getting things done. I've made my own based on it for this year - lots of breaking goals down so that I can do them a little bit at a time and it works! x

DeleteA lot of these are very similar to my mental list of revolutions, especially being more crafty and putting more effort into keeping up my art journal! Good luck with your resolutions and have a happy new year!

I've been really bad at just creating art that I want to this past year so it's something I really want to get back into. I've never owned or done an art journal but I think I may try a hand at it. Hopefully it would go well! And thank you have good luck with yours. Have a great new year!
