This is one quote that's always in the back of my mind but I know it's not always possible. And with a lot of people in this day and age people can't always do it because of money and other things.
I know for one thing if I were able to work on my designs and this blog more than what I am. Time that is being used for working, I think I would be a lot further on with my store and such. But life gets in the way, you just can't completely put your life on hold. You need to be able to put your dreams into action even if it is small steps each day. Like a little doodle today. and then tomorrow you fix it up by sketching more. Even the littlest things can make a huge impact.

  1. Its true, sometimes things like money really can get in the way. But there are little things you can do each day to work towards your dream while you save your pennies to really get things going. A saying that I read recently, you will never find the time unless you make time, has been my main source of inspiration lately. I had a baby last year and have found that I've drawn more for myself, and taken on more commissioned pieces with a baby than I did before. Its all about keeping your eye on the prize!

  2. Ah yes so true! I remember a quote: 'little steps lead to big steps', from I think it was The Everygirl, or maybe Jess Lively. And as Lauren said - keep your eye on the prize! Don't worry, I'm with you making baby steps too x

  5. I agree taking baby steps so to speak will help you on the right tracks a lot better. Patience is a true miracle worker. Lists are good too to get all those ideas you've got swimming around out into the open to try and make a reality!

Thanks for your comment too, means a lot that you liked the birds :o)

    1. All great ideas! You really just have to chop big problems and ideas into small more manageable bite sized pieces. Otherwise you only get stressed out!
And no worries! They looked great!!
