Learning has always been something I've loved to do, as nerdy as it sounds. It's not like I got amazing grades during school but I loved sitting in my History and English classes taking notes. I've already mentioned it in a Sunday Summary but this semester at uni I've got a new module called Propaganda, PR and Misinformation.
This weeks #create365 have been kind of more 'laid back' looking as they don't exactly look like a lot of effort or time went into them. But I had a general chilled back week in a way so I think that's ok!
Day 22 Done a weird galaxy type thing! I love how the watercolours look on this |
Day 23 A very small one for the Friday but was working on some stuff for a design brief/pattern |
Day 24 Circle doodles yup! |
Day 25 Had been looking at photos from one of the exhibitions at the DCA I visited back in November and made my own doodle versions |
Day 26 This day I had planned to do a calligraphy quote but after spilling the ink everywhere- and I mean everywhere, even stained my foot! I decided to use the little bit of ink left and make an eye |
Day 27 Got my mandala doodling on again! I slightly wish I left out the stem but ohwell! |
Day 28 Another mandala but as a Dream catcher! I actually love this one but wish I added 'shading' underneath another layer. |

What's your zodiac snack? |
Mathilde's artwork is pretty beautiful |
All these gifs are so bloody calming! |
I feel like I'm going to keep starting posts over the next week "I'm sorry" or "I apologies" since I've not been around very much. But yeah, I hope you like the favourite things I've came across over the past two weeks.
Other favourites...
> This is the cutest way to tell your partner you're pregnant!
> Some of the things people do on Instagram is crazy but pretty awesome
> If you're having a pretty rubbish day, these images may make you feel better... or you'll just be able to relate to them
On blog land

> Another thing to add on my endless list of 'Designer Must-Haves'
> Maybe if I buy some work out clothes then I'll actually do it?
But, yeah, anyway onto what actually happened this week. Although I was feeling rubbish, I was still busy doing stuff from visiting an Exhibition to Darren's birthday! This week I also started doing a new thing on social media with hashtagging tweets, posts and photos with #thelittlethings which is because I've said I need to enjoy the little things more.
This week my #create365's have been such a mixture! I finally got round to doing some collage stuff and have been loving it! But I do think I'm going to need a box to put all my magazine cuttings into soon as I don't think the pocket of my moleskine will hold much more!
On the blog front, I have been so bad over the past week or so with posting and I do apologise! Been so occupied doing other things then got the cold and since I haven't been up to wanting to do any blog stuff when I've had time. Just wanted to sleep!
Anyway, onto the creates!
Day 15 Weather had been horrible during the week so inspired this little pattern thing! |
Day 16 Another Mandala! |
Day 17 A crystal! I think I was a little inspired by the Chronicles of Ixia novels as crystals, glass and diamonds was mentioned loads in Storm Glass! |
Day 18 A naturey zentangle doodle on watercolours. Was a fun way to spend some time trying to draw flowers in loads of different ways! |
Day 19 Got round to doing some Collages which I absolutely loved doing! The one on the right was really simply done but I actually just love how it looks. |
Day 20 Yep another Collage! I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing with this one but I like how it came out. Plus the quote I found is pretty awesome. |

This week my #create365's have all been done awfully late into the evening, quite a few of them running on into the midnight hour! Hopefully will try and get out of that habit though...
Also done so many pieces this week that I've loved doing! Having so much fun with this project!
Day 8 First ever Mandala with my micron pens! Love this one. |
Day 9 I love quotes! |
Day 10 Such a fun doodle to do but I'm not really finished it yet! |
Day 11 Fun, crazy doodle! Took a while to do but was fun to mess around with different patterns. |
Day 12 Another little doodle. Was my last one in my Daler Rowney sketchbook! |
Day 13 I don't really know where this one came from... I just started doodling lines and then added some flowers. |
Day 14 And finally, a Mr Foxy! Obviously had to do at least one fox for this project (expect more though)! Plus it was a nice break/non-break during my Uni work last night. |

Over 2014 I created so many things from College briefs to personal bits and bobs that I loved creating. I felt like reminiscing about some of the designs I created, especially since I never got round to sharing all my final College projects!
These photos are incredibly beautiful |
This teacher is awesome! Can I go back to school? |
These macro photos are breathtaking but yet slightly terrifying... |
Naomi's journal-ling really inspires me to be a bit more 'freer' with my own work! |
Other favourites from the week...
> It's a bit of a controversial one but I actually love Sia's new music video
> Discovered this YouTube channel
> Incredibly jealous of this project Naomi took part in
> I am definitely suffering with the problem of finding my own style
> If you're not already drinking water a lot, then this might change your mind

Woops, super late Sunday Summary! And even more, it's been a year since I started it! I think I originally started these posts as it was when I also started the #100HappyDays photo challenge, which I am actually thinking of picking up again! Contrary to what the photo above might lead you to believe, this week has been actually kinda busy!
So we're officially into the second week of 2015, which can only mean one thing! The first #Create365 update!
