It's been a while since my last inspirations post so I felt it was time to share a new one with all my current and recent inspirations! Within this update I don't have any Blogs/Vlogs just due to the fact I haven't really been reading blogs too much nor watching much on YouTube! What I do have instead are tumblr inspirations as that's the corner of the internet I've been hiding in the past few months.

Portraiture- It's been a long time since I have sat and drawn people but I really want to start doing this again so I can mix it in with more of my own artwork.
Journal- I have just ordered a midori travellers notebook so have been looking for inspiration in ways to set it out. I have also got a moleskine coming to use for my honours project so journals are a big thing for me right now!
Anna Jane Seane- I do just love Seane's work but I also love how much detail there is within side this piece in particular. I also love the kind of mythical/spiritual vibe throughout her work.

Autumn Outfits- This year the UK haven't really had a very striking Summer so I'm looking forward to Autumn coming and being able to layer up and be cosy!
Colourful Dip Dyes- Charli (from Charli Marie TV) shared a review & process of how she made her hair colourful like this a few months ago but I still love it. I really want to do something similar with mine!
Rings/Suns&Moons- This is a bit of a different one for me as I never really wear rings but I've been seeing so many adorable ones as of late that I want to pick up! Also suns, stars, moons, generally anything astrological has been appearing in my life so much lately!

Cocktails- All I'm going to say is that this sounds amazing and I think I'm going to have to make a ton of cocktails for my 21st next year (if not sooner)!
Rocky Road Pancakes- Since my last visit to the Pancake Place was a while ago I've been trying to make my own versions since!
Chicken Ramen- I tried chicken ramen for the first time a few months ago and I've been craving it ever since so I'm deffo needing to try a recipe for it!

Nature- My tumblr has always been very 'nature' driven but lately it's gone a bit OTT! I'm craving the outdoors so much (ignore the irony), plus it's making me want to go travel a-lot!
Moon- As I said before I've been loving the moon a lot as well, but I've also been doing a lot of my 'creating' when the moons came up.
Tattoos- I still haven't got me original tattoo design done yet but I've been seeing so many on tumblr and it's giving me loads of ideas for other ones I want to get done!

Design Books- Since reading this post by Polly, my design book has grown so much! They've been a massive inspiration and will help so much for Uni this year!
Mark Making- I've been looking at and watching quite a few videos that kind of encourage(?) mark making and I can't wait to try some of the techniques like this one out!
It's been ages since I've done a recent Inspirations post so here's a more up-to-date one! I'll try and do more of these as 'arty' posts is something I really want to do more of but it does mix in with lifestyle too.

Over the past weeks or so I've been becoming a bit more interested in photography, especially creative kinds like collages. With starting University this week I feel this sort of style may fit in with the brief I have for Kinetic Illustrations. I love taking photos and feel this would be a great way to include them in my work.
With some of my photographs I took the other day while out for my woodland walk, I edited them using overlays of hues and colours. The results of these were really interesting but I want to try and push these further to create dramatic images like the ones above.
I've also noticed that this styling has become quite popular in album artwork with many albums that have come out during the Summer months have opted for this sort of the design. Among these designs, they seem very nature orientated but I do love how the contrast between portraits and nature look once used together.
Although, when I first heard about our module I was quite skeptical but now I'm looking quite forward to it. I will hopefully keep updating about it on the blog but I may create a new one for extensive research, development and annotation as it seems like it's something that needs to be very detailed to pass.

Back at the end of June I shared this post about how I was hoping to give my room a little bit of a face life during the Summer months. Over the past few months, I haven't exactly done as much as I would have liked in the sense of cleaning things out. But it's still been in the back of my mind as to how I would ideally like my room to look when it is once finished.
I haven't really had OCPD-obsessive compulsive pinning disorder- this week but I have pinned a little bit. So once again I will be sharing my favourites from this past week!

What a lovely treat! Two pinterest inspiration posts this week! However, this one is all focused on one thing, and one thing only, looooooveee.
I have to admit, like with everything recently I'm loving the more modern design interpretations. I love the use of including blues, greys and creams into design. I feel like it gives them a bit more of an open and welcoming design than ones that seem too 'girly'.
I did feel like I should upload the Valentines pinspiration post today but I'm really enjoying sharing my favourites so that post will come later in the week.

Since last week I shared the Christmas Time mood board which was a hit and since I've been looking at research for my Web Design brief, I thought I should combine both ideas for this week!
For my brief this time I have to design the branding and website for a clothing company. As I said in my into to Web Design & New Media post from the other week I had to pick a name from 5 different options or I could make one up. I decided to go for 'Hoxton'. The idea for my clothing company was is going to be aimed at females and is going to have a vintage and fresh styling to it.
I hope my mood board can give you a bit of inspiration for anything you're working on this week too!
