This past month I've definitely been listening to more 'alternative' music compared to last month! A few of the ones on this playlist I came across on Sincerely, Kinsey's blog. I've also started adding to a playlist on YouTube that you can listen to here. It's full of many of the songs that have been featured on these playlist posts, plus songs that I've been currently getting into! Enjoy.
What have you been listening to this month?

Dear August. July has been absolutely crazy! So much has happened from Darren and I having a trip to Edinburgh, which resulted in our engagement to other bits and bobs. I've not exactly done as much as I have wanted to this past month but I've started working on things that I hope I will push myself to do more off.
In my last August Shopping Haul post I spoke about my Car Boot Sale and my Livingston buys. The things I've got below are from a trip to Dundee with my mum and Darren we took the same week and my latest beauty buys! I hope you like them!
£14.99 Stripped top with bow from New Look. I couldn't find the link for it. |

£9 Spotted Twist Neck Vest from Red Herring at Debenhams |
£16 "Yo" "Bro" Tshirt from Henry Holland at Debenhams. I don't normally buy tshirts but I HAD to get this one because it was super adorable! |

In August, my boyfriend- Darren and his family went on a day trip to Livingston and in one shop- The Works- I bought quite a few things! I've also been buying a few other little things from Car Boot Sales and using vouchers I've still not used from my birthday.
Once again, Darren bought me something! This was from one of the stalls that the Shopping Center had. I've not used it yet but it's got a lot of space in it for cards and change! |
I got these two tins from a car boot sale for 50p each. I don't actually drink tea and my parents already have tea boxes but I think I might use them for my collection of pens I have! |
I bought these two letter sets on an impulse buy! They were only 99p anyway! But I think I'll end up decorating these with the washi tape I mentioned in my Back To College post. But I'm not to sure! |
These 3 cute elephants I bought from the same person I bought the tins from. The set of 3 cost me 50p (I think). But they were so adorable that I couldn't just leave them! |
I got these also in The Works. I hadn't read or heard anything about these books but they sounded great from what I read on the back. I spent £5 on the 3 books because they were on a deal! So cheap!! |
Have you been spending your money wisely or on a whim this past month? Leave a comment below with links to your posts about them so I can have a read! Or just tell me what you've been buying!

1. 2014 A6 Sweet Monthly Diary / 2. Dreaming Print with Frame / 3. IPhone Hard Case Dots: Celebrate Today
The wishlist created about are all products from the company- kikki.K. I only found out about this company recently when I was reading "Turning 14 + A New Camera" by Cupcake Crafty. I really fell in love with her notebook and had to go look at the company!
So for the next hour I scrolled through their website, drooling over basically all their stationary! I had planned to do a wishlist post this week, so I decided to keep open tabs of the products I really liked! That ended up being like 10 tabs. I ended up just deciding to created the wishlist with only kikki.K products instead of just a general wishlist.
Some of you may not know that I absolutely adore stationary and I will spend hours in the stationary sections of Waterstones, Hobbycraft, WHSmith and Paperchase but I think that from this post you can really tell! haha
From all the things on my wishlist I really want the Monthly Diary (#1), the IPhone Case even though I don't have an IPhone (#2) and Mini Quote Cards (#5 and #7). However, I think I will definitely be investing in the Monthly Diary so that I can use it next year for noting down blog posts and ideas.
So what's on your wishlist just now? Has anything that's on mine (or from their website) ended up on your wishlist as well? Comment below with it!
So today is the start of a new month, I hope everybody has been enjoying their Summer. I know the last few weeks the UK has been having a bit of a heat wave apart from this past week where it's been pretty rubbish weather.
So tell me how has your summer been so far? Have you been on holiday or had a staycation? Tell me all about!
