In my birthday haul post that I posted the other day, I told you about the fact that I got the Animal Crossing Nintendo 3DS with Animal Crossing: New Leaf already installed on it.

Following my birthday card post from yesterday, I thought it would be fit to show of some of the birthday presents I got last week for my birthday. I did get a wine glass and a shot glass (with key) too, but my mums put them somewhere and I'm not sure where!

This was a beautiful watch I got from my boyfriends family. I love the unique style of the watch and the packaging for it.

(Left) Warm Bodies DVD- Seriously love this! My first weekly words was a quote from this book/film. (Right) A sketchbook and pencil. Can't wait to try these out!

(Left) A bookmark from my Nannie. I really love the vintage style of it! (Right) A 18th birthday photo frame. I'm going to put a picture from my night out in town in here.

Jewelry (Left) From Aly Bali a local Jewelry and Gift shop (Middle) From Mackintosh (Right) Also from the Aly Bali store but is from nomination. It's not really clear but its an "18".

One of the things I was most excited to show you! A professional button maker, so once I get my designs done, and I've had a couple of practices with it, then I'll hopefully be selling them!

My most prized present.... Animal crossing limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL with Animal Crossing: New Leaf installed on it. I seriously haven't came of this game all week! My game play time is at like 20hours!

So these are my main presents I got for my birthday. But also I got money, gift vouchers and chocolate -I didn't want to tempt any of you with chocolate. Overall I had a great birthday and I love my presents I received.
But don't think it ends there. Soon in the future I will be doing a bigger blog post focused on Animal Crossing DS (and game) and the button maker, so keep an eye out for that!

This is a little overdue considering my birthday was a week ago... But here are some of the birthday cards I received! I wasn't able to include all the cards I got obviously, so these are just a handful of ones I received.

Typography (Left) I like the simplicity of this one and the use of colours (Right) This one made me chuckle when I read it, and I love the use of Illustration in it too

Last week after I had been out for my birthday, we went to a little convenience store and while waiting for my friends to pay for their stuff I had a look at the magazines. I spotted one that had a really cute notebook, that turned out to be the Home&Antiques magazine.

Rosie Simons is a fellow blogger and designer. Rosie specialized design field is surface pattern and graphics.

Sorry this post is a few days late, I've been busy with work and birthday stuff over the weekend and haven't had much time to do much else.

So last week I had to go into college to look around the End of Year Exhibition

As today is my birthday!! (Woooooo!) and I thought it would be fit if today's weekly word related to that. So how about everybody has a bit of cake!

 So the first proper post of Crafty Colour is here! This colour is called Forest Green. It's a slightly darker minty green colour, so I don't feel it would be right to call it a Minty Green.

 I heard this quote a few months back when I went to see the film 'Warm Bodies' in the cinema. I feel in love with this quote after hearing it and felt like it described how I feel in most things I've experienced so far in life.  But as the quote says, great things come from things that start out scary. The design was made using the colours I posted earlier this week in the Crafty Colour post. If you haven't read that entry yet, go read it just now!
