Take me to a quiet place // Photography
Thursday, March 03, 2016
Once again I took a trip to the woods near me and I could go on about how beautiful it was, etcetc, but instead I'm taking a leaf out of Caitlin's book (no pun intended) and just noting down the important bits with a few good links and a fantastic piece of poetry.
Take me to a quiet place,
with earth under our backs,
cradled in a forest glade.
There, we will point out
things we see, and
acknowledge those things
we do not. In solitude,
we take in the wisdom
offered in each other and
take in the hum of the
forest.

Those pictures are amazing - I really like the last one, though it is difficult to pick a favourite. I just got a new camera for Christmas and I am trying to learn as I go. I doubt I will ever get to the quality that you are at but I'll look forward to your posts for inspiration! http://stayingfocussed.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/im-skyscraper-wean.html
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Honestly just keep playing and experimenting with your camera, google techniques you're interested in and you'll learn! I still have a lot to learn and to develop on, it just takes time!

Such great photos, particularly the picture of the waterfall; it looks so beautiful - the way the green is so rich & vivid. ^.^
