This weeks LiveMakeDesign is Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search winner- Zoe Ingram!
I stumbled across Zoe's work not long after I started up this blog.
Zoe started her venture into becoming a designer since a young age being interested in design and all things creative since her childhood years. During her high school time she spent a large amount of it in the art department creating things during her spare time. While at school she also briefly studied illustration and took various art classes during her time there. After high school, Zoe studied Textile Design and graduated with an honors degree in printed Textiles from the (formerly) Scottish College of Textiles.
After graduating, Zoe worked for design agencies for her first 12 years of her career. However, after having two children she decided that she wanted to change to a freelancer.
In the past year, Zoe has taken part in Lilla Rogers Make Art That Sells eCourse and has also just won the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search Competition. In the competition there was orginally over 1500 entries to the competition. From winning the competition it means that Zoe will be represented by Lilla Rogers for the next 2 years, along with runner up- Daniel Roode. As well as being represented by Lilla Rogers, Zoe will also get a mini fabric collection, a scrapbooking license, a home decor and gift product line, a jounral cover, a decorative garden product and a feature in 'Where women create business'. She has also just landed a book deal with publishers Quarry, who have also worked with Lilla Rogers in the past.
Apart from anything to do with Lilla Rogers, she was also contacted by Jellystone Designs. For the company she was asked to create and design some illustrations and patterns for their new range that is not only aimed at parents but also for children.
In Zoe's work she uses a lot of bold, bright colours. She also plans out her designs now, whereas she used to just jump straight to the computer.
I hope you enjoy Zoe's work just as much as I do. I think I won't be the only one anticipating the day where you can buy some of her work she does with Lilla Rogers.

This weeks LiveMakeDesign is designer, blogger and all round awesome person- Lauren Goodland!
Some of you may recognise that I featured Lauren's blog- DorkFeatures in my Liebster Award but I didn't really get to say much about her. I found Lauren's blog a month ago while flicking through the bloglovin 'popular posts' and I seriously fell in love with her blog!
Lauren is a 19 year old who is studying Graphic Communication. The reason of which I adore her blog, as she also makes a lot of arty and creative themed posts which are perfect for someone who is always looking for new forms of inspiration!
On the DorkFeatures blog, Lauren posts about her life and design & crafty stuff. Some of her posts such as the 'Sudden Surge of Creativity' have inspired me to create an art journal- something I have not yet done seriously way too lazy. A lot of her posts seem to give me some sort of creativity stimulus, whether it's about what she's bought recently or some pretty papers! Even today, I am still sitting, leafing through her blog and reading months old posts just because of an interesting topic or some pretty pictures!
I hope you can find some inspiration amongst the posts on her blog like I have.
Today's LiveMakeDesign is blogger Colours And Carousel.
Charlotte -the face behind Colours and Carousels- is an 18 year old who is studying Fashion Management at University. Obsessed with fashion, shopping and beauty, this is how her blog was born.
I found out about Charlotte's blog through another blog I read- Floral Danielle. To be honest, I found her blog on a whim because I was just looking through the comments from one of the posts and was in the mood for some new material to read. This is where I seen Charlotte's url. Charlotte's blog isn't something I will follow a lot but she puts a new spin on old ideas. I also seen that she was moving up to live beside me, which shocked me because I hadn't discovered a blogger who actually lived close to me.
On her blog, Charlotte speaks a lot about fashion, beauty, cooking and her life in general. She has also got a feature called 'Desert Island Essentials', where she asks a series of questions to a blogger asking them what their Essentials would be if they were given certain limitations.
Charlotte also runs a jewelry company with her mum called Sue's Little Gems. Their company started after she bought a kit from hobbycraft and ever since, has been hooked onto making her own! Her mum and herself make and sell their creations at craft fairs. The inspiration to make jewelry themselves came after they realised that they would be able to make their own versions of high street jewelry at a fraction of the cost.

Today's LiveMakeDesign has a bit of a twist to it because I have been nominated for the Liebster Award! So a while ago I was nominated for the Liebster award by Resourceful Restoration. I've been putting of writing this up because I didn't know when the right time would be to post it. But I'm just going to do it now and let you all find new blogs to follow too!
Some of you may or may not know what the Liebster Award is. Basically, the recipient of the 'Award' is given 10 questions to answer. After doing so they then give the award and ten new questions to 5-11 bloggers that they like who have less than 200 followers.

Something sentimental I have on me a lot is the necklace Darren bought me either for my first birthday that we were together or the one he got me earlier this year. - Given the choice would you either

I'd rather write about other people's crafts because I love reading other peoples crafts! I never really end up making them but I enjoy reading through them. - Biking or Walking?
Biking! It just reminds me of the good times I had when I was a child and we had our holidays at Center Parks. - Car or Public Transport?
I know some people really don't like it and get frustrated with it, but I like public transport. Especially trains because I'm actually able to do things like read unlike in a car. - What is your biggest asset?

This weeks LiveMakeDesign is designer, blogger and e-course writer Jo Gifford.
Jo Gifford is probably better known as the Dexterous Diva. Under this name she runs her blog and has published e-courses called Freelance Working Mum Survival Guide and Idea Generation for Bloggers.
I heard about Jo through numerous blogs who were talking about her e-course called Idea Generation for Bloggers. I went and looked at the e-course and thought it looked awesome till I seen it cost. I was pretty gutted about it because I didn't have the money to go and pay for an e-course and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep up with it by the time I get back to college and have my new job and everything.
However, it turned out lucky because she ended up making the e-course FREE! So of course I immediately signed up thinking I can just try and push through reading the e-course in the evenings and spare minutes. So for the past 3 or so weeks I have been receiving the emails as part of the e-course. I really have enjoyed reading them so far and they have definitely helped ignite some inspiration! The course goes through getting yourself organised, getting you in the zone, the toolkit for idea generation and creative thinking and then in the final week is about putting it all together! With this being the first e-course I have ever done, I would say it has taught me a lot about how to put my thoughts in motion and for getting me inspired. I would definitely recommend the e-course for any blogger- even if they have been on the blogging scheme for a while.

This weeks LiveMakeDesign features designer, blogger, DIYer and bookworm Erin Elise.
I think I first discovered Erins blog/shop when another blog had been showing off something that she had bought from her store. I really fell in love with her Harry Potter and The Hunger Games inspired designs she had created.
Erin is the face behind the blog e-lise etc, Sawyer and Scout and co-runs Bloggers Bookshelf. Erins store (Sawyer and Scout) has collections inspired by films, books and TV shows such as Harry Potter and Divergent. She also makes and sells DIY jewelry and some times posts about how she makes them on her blog. On her shop she also sells supplies for making your own DIY creations.
Her blog includes a large variety of posts, so you should definitely check it out because there is something for everybody. Some of these posts include DIY's, Nail Art Tutorials and baking. However, as I've said she also co-runs Bloggers Bookshelf. Bloggers Bookshelf is a blog that has bloggers review books and is definitely worth a look at if you are a bookworm on the hunt for a new book to drool over.
I personally have never bought something from her shop but I have seen quite a few reviews that praises her work and the delivery. Many people have said that they have received their orders within two days(!!) and in great condition with cute packaging.
