Like I've said many times, there's been so many posts that I've been meaning to write about but just haven't got round to it. But luckily since I've been of at college for the past week or so I've been able to catch up on these ideas! For today's post I'm going to speak about my favourite things from 2013.
This weeks weekly words is again inspired by Charles Trippy. Charles, with his wife Alli, vlog by the name of CTFxC and Charles is in the band We The Kings. The reason being for this is because of the amount of stuff he has had to go through this past year...
This weekly words is another quote from someone I look up
to. This week it is from vlogger and bassist Charles Trippy.
Charles has been vlogging consecutively every day for just
over 4 years (since 1st of May 2009) and has been the bassist of the
band We The Kings since 2011. In the vlogs, Charles, his wife Alli and their
two dogs Marley and Zoe recorded their daily lives (well the dogs don’t record
it but they’re in it).
But the reason I chose this quote and gave you a little bit
more info about Charles than I normally would is because of what happened last
year. In 2012, Charles suffered from a brain tumour and has since suffered from
further seizures which happened because of the tumour/seizure he had last year,
the latest one only happening a few weeks ago.
Since, during and after all the treatment and everything else he’s had
to go through, Charles has stayed optimistic. He has even slightly joked about
the brain tumour and likened it to the brain slugs from the TV programme- Futurama.
After everything, Charles has stayed strong through it all
and is just an amazing person to look up to.
So that’s why I have dedicated this week’s ‘Weekly Word’ to him and a
quote from him.
